We presented the report “Gender Institutional Framework in Argentina: The Impact of Javier Milei’s Government on Gender and Diversity Policies” to the Women and Diversity Committee of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies.

The study examines changes in the institutional hierarchy of gender agencies and their impact on the protection of rights and the implementation of equality policies.

Based, among other sources, on the GenerAR Map survey—which identified more than 1,100 gender offices in local governments—the document analyzes how the dissolution of the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity and the loss of state capacity affect the continuity, coordination, and scope of public policies.
